PCASDR 2026 Performance Driving School (PDS)

"Sometimes, in order to FIND your limits... you have to EXCEED them."
This three-day school (Friday evening 4/24, and all day Saturday 5/02 and Sunday 5/03) is intended to teach PCA members Performance Driving techniques. (This is not a driver training class to teach new drivers how to drive.) Entry requirements for this school are that each attendee must be a PCA member driving a Porsche* and you must already be a competent driver. PCA membership is available to Porsche owners for $56/yr from the pca.org website. This school teaches performance driving techniques in a safe environment enabling PCA members to:
— Learn and practice performance driving skills in their Porsche that can be applied to any driving situation.
— Safely learn the capabilities of their Porsche in a controlled environment with the continued guidance of friendly and experienced instructors.
— Increase the enjoyment of Porsche ownership by significantly improving their driving skills.

No prior Performance Driving experience is required.
Up to 2 PCA members per Porsche may register - each member must register with their membership number separately.
*For parties of 2 where both are PCA members, if one person is driving a Porsche, the other may drive a non-Porsche car if desired. And individual PCA members who want to drive a non-Porsche may still register for the waitlist, and they will be confirmed starting on April 14th if there are spaces available at that time.
Cost is $650 per person. Registration is only available online and requires payment with a credit card once your registration is confirmed. Payment by check and registration by mail are not available.
Attendance is limited to 44 students. You may still register when this number is reached and you will be wait-listed and notified of any cancellations.

Event requirements
The school curriculum is as follows:
Friday 4/24/2026 (date is NOT a typo) "Chalk Talk" (Classroom instruction, slide & video presentation)
Dinner from 6:00 PM, Chalk Talk from 6:30 PM at INDEPENDENT MOTORCARS, 9220 Mira Este Ct, San Diego CA 92126 (Dinner will be provided).
Saturday 5/2/2026 Driving Exercises: skidpad (wet), cornering (wet), turn dynamics, apexes, slalom, accident avoidance (wet), braking (wet)
7:30 AM to 5:00 PM at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre, 2050 Entertainment Circle, Chula Vista, CA 91911 (Breakfast & Lunch provided).
Sunday 5/3/2026 Non-competitive Autocross Course (Full day of 1:1 instruction)

Cancellation and "No-show" Policy: To receive a refund you may cancel your registration any time prior to 6:00 PM Tuesday, Apr 21, 2026. After that date, refunds are only possible if your place can be filled with another paying candidate who is qualified to attend the school. "No-shows" are not eligible to receive refunds. Under extreme circumstances, refunds may be granted at the discretion of the Chief Driving Instructors.
